Job Vacancy - Digital Marketing Strategist / Social Media Manager

The Digital Marketer / Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing digital marketing strategies across all platforms. This includes creating and scheduling content for social media and email, managing campaigns, engaging with our audience, analyzing performance data, and helping grow AfrobeatProducers.com’s online presence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Marketing & Strategy

  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with company goals.

  • Plan and run paid advertising campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Ads, YouTube Ads, etc.).

  • Manage and grow email marketing campaigns (3 - 4 engaging emails per week).

  • Create CRM workflows to retain and convert leads.

2. Social Media Management

  • Manage all AfrobeatProducers social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn).

  • Post consistently across all platforms - including Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, main YouTube videos, and community posts.

  • Engage with followers daily - reply to comments, DMs, and community messages promptly.

  • Schedule and plan weekly/monthly content calendars.

3. Content Creation & Coordination

  • Work with our creative team to develop high-quality videos, graphics, and blog content.

  • Write captivating captions, blog posts, and social media copy that reflect the AfrobeatProducers brand voice.

  • Create content that resonates with music producers, artists, and creative entrepreneurs.

  • Upload and optimize blog posts for SEO on the website.

4. Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor analytics across all platforms and campaigns.

  • Deliver monthly reports on growth, reach, engagement, and conversions.

  • Use insights to improve campaigns and marketing performance.

5. SEO & Website Traffic

  • Optimize web pages and blog posts for SEO.

  • Conduct keyword research to drive organic traffic.

  • Track website metrics and continuously improve rankings and reach.

6. Community Building & Innovation

  • Build and nurture an active online community of Afrobeat producers.

  • Stay up to date with digital marketing trends, music culture, and viral content strategies.

  • Suggest new creative ideas, collaborations, and campaign directions.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Social Media Growth & Engagement

  • 2% monthly growth in followers across key platforms.

  • Maintain an average 20% engagement rate per post.

Content Performance

  • Publish at least 20 approved content pieces per month.

  • Achieve 40% of target impressions and reach on posts.

Email Marketing

  • Send 3–4 engaging, well-written email campaigns weekly.

  • Achieve a minimum of 25% open rate and 5% click-through rate.

Lead Generation & Traffic

  • Generate 5+ qualified leads per campaign.

  • Increase website traffic by 5% month-over-month.

Community Management

  • Respond to 100% of comments and DMs within 1 hour.

  • Maintain a satisfaction rate of 98% in audience interactions.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Deliver complete monthly reports before the last working day.


Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Digital Marketing or Social Media Management.

  • Excellent understanding of social media algorithms, email marketing, and paid ads.

  • Strong writing skills - especially for captions, newsletters, and storytelling.

  • Experience in the music or entertainment industry is a huge plus.

  • Familiarity with tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Zoho or similar.

  • Creative, consistent, and passionate about digital culture.

Compensation

₦130,000 monthly
(Based on performance, growth incentives may be introduced after the probation period.)

Internet Service Allowance: N20,000 Monthly
