Overview

The ideal candidate will be passionate about Afrobeat music, with a deep understanding of its

rhythms, grooves, and cultural essence. This role involves creating high-quality samples, sound

designing, loops, sample libraries, presets and sound kits that resonate with producers and

artists globally.

Duties & Responsibilities

Your duties and responsibilities will include but is not limited to:

● Sample Creation and Sound Design:

a. Develop unique drum loops, percussion patterns, melodic phrases, and basslines

that capture the Afrobeat vibe.

b. Design high-quality one-shots, FX, and instrument samples suitable for various

Afrobeat styles.

● Beat and Loop Production:

a. b. Produce full beats and breakdowns to be included in sample packs.

Ensure all content is original, dynamic, and relevant to current Afrobeat trends.

● Recording and Editing:

a. b. Record live instruments (e.g., drums, guitars, horns) and vocals when necessary.

Edit, process, and fine-tune recordings for optimal sound quality.

● Mixing and Processing:

a. Mix all samples and loops to industry-standard levels with appropriate EQ,

compression, and effects.

b. Ensure all audio files are clean, well-processed, and ready for commercial use.

● Collaboration and Coordination:

a. Work closely with other producers, musicians, and engineers to achieve cohesive

results.

b. Manage and direct session musicians when live recordings are needed.

● Trend Research and Innovation:

a. Stay up to date on Afrobeat and related genres to ensure fresh and innovativecontent.
